Monster Island is The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster. It was strangely released around the exact same time that Godzilla King of the Monsters. The film is about Monster Island and where a Monster Island monster may be found. The monster can also be found on Monster Island.


This film is about an asylum and has a budget similar to a large child's meal. It uses it light, focusing on just a few characters and filming in one location during lunch breaks. Let's not forget, however, that this film is about kaiju, so it's possible that The Asylum will perform (now updated) well.
